IMPACT 100 Pensacola Bay Area, a local women’s philanthropy group, announced its 2016 grant recipients at its annual meeting Sunday at the Hilton Pensacola Beach Gulf Front. Ten organizations — two in each of five categories — was awarded $108,200 after a thorough grant review, committee process and membership vote.

"At the end of (Sunday), $8.318 million has been awarded to nonprofits in Escambia and Santa Rosa counties since 2004 in the form of significant grants that make a lasting impact," said Cyndi Warren, President of IMPACT 100, in a statement.
