CFC Recovery is an aftercare program that rebuilds lives after rehabilitation from mental health and substance abuse issues. We are an active sober community providing love, support, and guidance for individuals who have hit rock bottom. The passion within our community is fierce and members that join instantly have over 150 sober friendships to lean on in tough times. The CFC Relapse Prevention Program is free and open to those looking for support and is designed in stages over a timeframe of 18 months or more. We provide programs that address the individual from a social, mental, physical, emotional, and spiritual perspective. There are weekly sober social activities from skydiving to rock climbing to art class for families to reconnect and members to make sober friends. Currently, CFC hosts 1,092 support meetings, 52 sober social activities, 2 recovery retreats, and more. Impact100 made a huge difference for our organization. The funding allowed us to expand our Family Preservation Program and open new opportunities for grandparents, siblings, and couples in recovery. Winning the Impact Grant changed our organization financially. It allowed us to become eligible for specific Federal Grants since we had won a sixfigure grant. In the spring of 2020, CFC was awarded the Building Recovery Community Organizations Award by the Substance Abuse and Mental Health Services Administration within the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services, and expanded our programs. Working with Impact100 was like working with family. The grant process was vigorous and detailed but organized and full of passionate, loving women who made us feel empowered. We love being part of the Impact family!
